Venetian plaster is a highly decorative natural polished plaster for walls and ceilings. Made of natural non-hydraulic lime and marble powder, it is applied in several thin layers with a small spatula producing a very smooth polished surface with a natural depth of colour and sheen. The inherent qualities of Venetian Plaster allow walls to breathe, whilst the addition of natural waxes provide added surface shine and protection.

Because Venetian Plaster is applied in several very thin layers, the finish gives a unique pattern or patina, which leaves the surface with smooth and layered with almost three dimensional qualities. Venetian Plaster is naturally white but can be pigmented with earthy ochre tones. Additional tone vibrancy is achieved through waxing or oiling.

Venetian plaster can be used successfully in wetroom or shower applications if sealed with weather proofing oils.
